When cats get too smart...

One of my cats is getting too smart (or I am getting too dumb! ).  We have a very large cat who enjoys food a lot.  Unlike many people do with normal cats, we cannot just leave a bowl of food out for her, she will eat all of it and chase the other cat away from his food.  Instead she has set feeding times.  I was sitting in my computer chair surfing the forums and she came in and started making her food call and bothering me.  It was about feeding time and I got up to go feed her not knowing that she had already been fed!  When I got up, she stole my chair!  She is all sprawled out across it and will not let me have it back!  I was tricked by a cat and I now have no place to sit!

Man, my cats do the same thing. I got one who will scratch your head while your sleeping. When you move your head, he will lay down and go to sleep on your pillow. Both my cats have learned how to open doors. They also like taking things and putting them in thier water dish. I mean they'll take watches, pens, pencils, the tv remote, anything they can carry in thier mouths.

Not mine,she smacks. :puke:

My cat  is sort of an "Outdoorsman" kitty. She's been known to bring Snakes (Either Black snakes or Copperheads), baby Bunnies, Moles, Voles,  Birds, mice, and all that other good stuff right up to the front porch.

Back when we had a dog, the cat OWNED the dog. Sometimes we accidently left the door to the kitchen(dog's "Domain"), the dog snuck out, the cat would charge at the dog, take a big whap at the dog's nose, dog would wimper back tothe kitchen.

Pretty funny considering the dog was consideribly  Bigger.   :D

My cat is the same way with the food, seems like it is wanting food every 10 minutes. He bites too if you ignore him! Scares me a little, I'll wake up in the middle of the night and we will be nose to nose, dont think we stay that way too long, I usually grab him and shut him out of my room in a matter of seconds! Ours can open the doors that you pull, but if they are push doors he still tries to pull??
