May 2013 build date?

I just bought a 2014 Silverado 4x4 Z71 crew cab at the end of August. I noticed it had a 5/2013 build date on the sticker. When did they start building them? Could this be one of the trucks under the early recall?

They probably did the recall work before they sold it.
