Questions on ordering a 2014 Sierra

If a vehicle is sitting on the lot it may mean the dealer is getting anxious to sell but that does not necessarily mean you're likely to get a better price for it. A dealer starts paying interest, advertising and overhead costs as soon as a vehicle arrives and the longer a vehicle sits on the lot unsold the more those costs accumulate. These costs are why dealers are compensated by the manufacturer with holdback. Conversely a pre-sold factory order doesn't cost the dealer any of those fees and they still receive the holdback amount.

Ohh ok I didn't know that thanks for the info.

Never thought of it like that! I'm sending the e-mails to my dealers today.

WhiteMike,

You must be very excited to be looking into purchasing a new 2014 Sierra. I am more than happy to assist you in locating a vehicle with the specifications that you want. Could you private message me including exactly what you are looking for and zip code?
