VIN Decoding - Engine size.

Ok, so i just bought my self an 08 Silverado 1500 4x4 Ext cab, This is going to sound pretty stupid..Yes i checked an looked at the vehicle but i seem to of forgotten which engine it has...

If its the 4.8l or the 5.3l, now..i get it thursday theyre doing their safety an what not to it an stuff..but i can still walk away if i want..

My question is.

Which engine do I have, the 4.8 or the 5.3?

The VIN# 2GCEK19J381167129

If i remember correctly its suppose to be the 8th number that tells you the engine, so i googled the vin 2 times on some "vin decoders" an it says 5.3l..

But something is making me feel off an i need an extra persons answer/help ASAP.
