Last night I tried too put it into 4low and now it wont go over 10km/h and the transfercase selector switch inside the truck wont work theres no lights on it what so ever and it wont let you push any thing. I agree he needs to get it scanned but let's try to get him rolling a little better first.

Make sure you are on level ground before you start this. As it sounds like you are stuck in 4 lo now.

First disconnect battery both sides for about 30 minutes. While you are waiting check the fuses under the hood and in the dash for the 4wd. If you find a blown one replace it. Then re connect the battery. Try starting up and see if the lights on the 4wd panel come back. If not crawl under it an look at the t case for any disconnect wires to the actuator or modules. If so reconnect check panel again. If still nothing try tapping lightly on the actuator with the handle of a screw driver. Check again. If still nothing try starting it while holding down the 2wd button not the auto.

I'm saying be on level ground so it can relieve an load on the front end.

If nothing works get someone to trailer you to a mechanic For diagnostics. But to be sounds like you actuator or shift module is fd up.
