07 new body silverado non bose front speaker stopped working

not a drop of sound coming from it. i don't think there is an amp in the non bose trucks so what can i check to see why there is no sound coming from it?

Its probably the speaker take it out and test it on a home stereo. I had that problem once and so have many others.

Just check the connection at the speaker and see if its loose.
