Problems

I'm going to take some of the responsibility on the transportation. My father who's always done his business vehicle leases (Yukon XL) through this dealer told me they didn't provide loaners anymore, he's had his up there over the years and is well known/liked by the service manager (service manager actually complimented him a bunch when I dropped off) and I've known the service manager over the years as well every single vehicle I've personally owned has gone through this dealer and the same sales guy (this is the 4th)... Because of that, I never asked and would assume if they have loaners or a rental program I'd expect them to tell me about it.

They did give me a ride back downtown, but that's all they offered.

I better be getting an update this morning and I'll specifically ask about a loaner.

Update:

FINALLY got a call back from the dealer after hearing nothing all day, even after left a voicemail... Turns out the 4 wheel was out because of a bad control module. I'm picking it up this afternoon and will be without 4 wheel until they get the part in.

They also had to order a whole new mirror to fix the blinker light.

So I'm left without 4 wheel drive in the middle of winter in a city on a hill.

The kick me while I'm down part? The sales guy called me up around 1 and left a voicemail saying "Hey just wanted to check in to see how you're liking the truck and that I got your license plates in..."

I left him one "You can walk the license plates over to the service department and see how well I'm liking the truck & especially the 4 wheel drive".

Of course, he hasn't return my call and that was 3 hours ago.

When this lease is up, I doubt I'll be considering this my 'go to dealer'

I'm having many of the same issues. Dash is warped BAD, dealership is picking it up today to install a whole new dashpad. I also have park assist sensors going off all the time for no reason. They are going to look at that as well. Also have a wobble at 75mph, feels like unbalanced wheels or maybe an ever so slight flat spot to me. Overall a little disappointed in the QC from GM. I never had any issues with my first run 2012 F-250 PowerStroke. Was considering a Toyota or a Ford before I settled on my LTZ, thinking I might be back in the market if I'm constantly having issues with this truck.

That being said I will of course give GM every conceivable chance to fix whatever problems come up (to a point).

Still waiting for the part to come in...though being patient, its not easy getting around this town with snow and no 4 wheel in a pickup with crappy tires. Got stuck in a parking lot over the weekend - with 5 4 tubes of sand, it was 5 until I had to cut one open to get traction under my wheels. IN A PARKING LOT!

Finally talked with the sales guy (after having the sales manager also leave a VM asking how I liked the truck) told him I wasn't happy about the issues and told him just what I thought about the tires and that they should help me get something better on there - hoping they'd take the opportunity to make up for the 4 wheel drive issue.

He told me to call parts, even after I asked him to talk to parts. Parts called him a chickensh!t and went and talked to him. He called back asking for tire info after not finding it from the VIN #. He tells me they'll work something out. Got a VM a bit ago from parts manager basically saying the SRA's a terrible tire, and to call back to talk about options for new tires and that they could give me $100 each for the Goodyear's. This leads me to believe they're "doing me the favor" of buying those and selling me new ones.

So, now I have to consider buying new tires for a $48K truck that should just have come with good tires in the first place. It's like building a high end house and having to replace the low end appliances the builder shoved in there as an after thought.

Maybe I'm wrong, but don't I have some leverage here to get the tires replaced if they're this bad?
