New to this particular forum...but not to GM. Just bought a 2014 GMC Sierra Z71. White. Crew Cab. SLT, with SLT Preffered package. 6.5' bed. Basically loaded...only missing one or two things I didn't want. Bought it back on December 3rd, been looking around this site and another one since then and decided to finally join. This makes my 3rd GM truck, 5th overall GM vehicle (all I've ever owned). I bought this to replace my 2006 Chevrolet 2500HD Diesel......(which is for sale).

 

The new Z71 is all stock at the moment. It does have vent visors and a low profile toolbox on it now. I have a 2" RC Leveling kit on order.....waiting.....waiting....ha. Will be getting the windows tinted next week and just removed the DDM Tuning HID's from my 2500HD to put in this truck. The low beams from the 2500 match the bulb in the 2014 GMC. Just need to order the harness now from what I have read. Might be getting some Nitto Terra Grapplers to put on it soon, if the stock Goodyear Wranglers sell. And on down the road I want to get a Diablo Tuner with a custom tune and maybe.......just MAYBE.....at some point get the RC 3.5" lift. Saw some pictures of guys trucks on a site or two with that lift and it is exactly what I want. Although I did promise the wife I wouldn't spend as much money on this truck as I have past vehicles........yeah right.

 

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to the community. I am from and still live in Princeton, NC.

 

 

That 2006 2500HD is for sale if anyone is interested. It is White, Crew Cab, LT3. LBZ engine. Dark Charcoal leather. I can send the craigslist link to anyone interested.

Those of you that know the answer....I need to clarify something. I am using the HID's I removed from my 2500HD to put in the New truck. Ballasts and all. I know I need to order a harness.....is all I need to order is the HID kit wiring harness?? And I need two right, one for each side???
