2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Siren Control Box install power source?

Hi all!

I am looking for a little advice on a siren control box install. The siren box I am installing is a DaMeGa Ultimate Siren (links posted below). Off the control box switches I will have 2 radios, 1 radio accessory and many LED warning/emergency lights. Recently I have and the lights and radios powered through fuse taps, however I will need more then 10 amps to run the box. I was wondering if there was anyway to power the box through my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT fuse box or if I will need to tap into one of the 12v plugs. Any advice will be appreciated. Also I have heard of a mysterious open wire in the overhead lighting unit used for cab strobe lights. Is this in all trucks? Thanks

Depending on how many amps you need, you can:

Use the RAP+Relay mod http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/109163-rap-how-to-on-nbs-keyed-accessory-power/

Run a power wire direct from battery to accessories & only use the RAP to trigger relays for accessories
