Chevy & GMC fender trims interchangeable?

While I know they aren't real functional, will the GMC Sierra fender flares that come on the stock trucks install direct on a Chevy? I like the way they seem to finish off the wheel wells.

no, there is a lip on the GMC where the trim sits where as the silverado is straight

Yeah, I saw those, but they are still a little bigger than the GMC ones.

FWIW, the GMC fender also has about 10 or 12 holes in it to accommodate the fender flares. They actually have that many huge plastic clips, including the screws that you can see. I just replaced mine with the painted to match ones. Actually the dealership did the install, but I was there assisting, holding the light, and making sure everything goes as I think it should. In this case it went perfectly. "Verywhitedevil" was correct, there is a good sized flattened lip where the flares are fastened. It also eliminates anyone from wanting to remove them and run with no flares.
