Lift Kit , Wheel & Tire Combo Advice or Info

Every kit I've found to this point except for the 2.5" requires cutting. Does anybody know of a kit that doesn't require cutting ? I saw that the rc 6" and fab 6" require a lot of cutting so I know that will probably not be an option for me anymore.

This is mine. 2.5" lift from rough country. 24x10 gm ck375 reps. Tires measure to a 33.3". I just barely rub the inner fender at full lock in reverse.

What is your budget that you want to spend?

2"-5" will get you 33" tires

6"-9" 35" tires.

Everything depends on how wide of wheel and backspacing you get whether you will rub.

Negative offsets, the wheels stick out and will cause rubbing on a tight fit like 2" lift with 33" tire. But a wide stance also looks mean.

Positive offsets keep the wheels tucked in like stock rims. That will help you fit bigger tires on a small lift.

Not into lifts & such (I usually keep with stock) but this is by far the best look as have seen myself, might have to copy this look

I tend to lean (no pun intended) more towards the level or the rear a tad higher than the front. I'm also a bigger fan of a wider stance but the tire has to be proportioned right. I don't care for the trucks that have the 33x14.50 or 35x17.50s . I think that's overkill. An ideal size if the 5" clears 33's well would be 33x12.50 or 33x13.50s . I don't want to force the tires in the wheel wells nor do I want to have excessive gaps ...

I'm not sure what's possible on my budget but I know rims and tires are gonna be my budget killer forsure.

Whatever links you have shoot them my way and I'd be more than happy to take a look at them..

I think this setup looks great, exact tire size you are looking at. Believe the rims are +18 offset. Pretty sure I will copy this, but with 275/70 18s. Like the looks of the 12.5 wide tire but narrower is better for my needs.

Just got with my lift Thursday. Check it out. I love lifted trucks. This is my 4th lifted truck. I spent 2400 on the lift. 2500$ on wheels and tires.

Good stuff. I probably won't go over 2-3 inches with this truck . Being up there is nice but it can lead to be troublesome on you wallet unless you have deep enough pockets to pay to let you play. I had a Ram on 7 " suspension lift by Skyjacker that I couldn't say enough about. No issues other than when it came time to replace those 38" 14.50s . Haha..

The larger lifts also drop the differential to create better cv angles. But where it is dropped to the rear cross member sits there from the factory. This is why all the differential drop lifts require cutting. No way around it.

That being said i will be going with a 2.5 leveling kit (in the mail) and either 275/65r20 (34) or 35/12.50r20 with a 1.5 body lift as well.
