08' Sierra 1500 stabilitrac troubles

Hey guys I have an 08' sierra 1500 with the 5.3 and twice now on a very long trip, it has started running rough and the "service stabilitrac" comes on as well as "stabilitrac off" and "service traction control" and 'traction control off" the check engine light also flashes. The first time it happened I took it to the mechanic and his code scanner didn't read anything about the issues I was having. He did change the plugs and plug wires and it straightened up and has ran fine for the past few months then I drove 1600 miles in 27 hours and it started again about 500 miles into the trip. I drove the rest of the trip with it like that because I didn't have much choice. If anybody has any idea on where to start I would greatly appreciate the help.

Ran a scan and it's showing a Throttle pedal sensor code, an intermittent miss on cylinder 4, and oil pressure sensor out of range. The throttle pedal code has been up for quite awhile. Any ideas yet?

Sounds like the throttle body position sensor service bulletin, has an extended warranty that you may be covered for.

Sorry to sound stupid but I didn't realize there were multiple modules to scan. I thought you just hooked up the scanner and it told you what was wrong with your truck. lol :happysad:

My mechanic is telling me that the Active Fuel Management system has malfunctioned and that I most likely have burned a hole in my #4 piston. He told me to start looking for a replacement motor.
