Mid-high rpm engine vibration, almost like a faulty plug or injector?

I've felt a similar condition before but in a single cab 2003 4.3l V6 (the old-ish TBI motor) while under acceleration or high rpms. I have also felt it in my old 5.3 but that was always due to a cracked spark plug or burnt through plug wire. Like the cylinder was firing but not really 100% creating an imbalance and thus a felt vibration at higher rpms.

 

Has anyone else noticed this with their 5.3's say from 2800 up to maybe 4000 rpms? Past 4000 (only gone there once) I didn't notice it. I need to drive another truck but I'm not sure the dealer would like me deliberately going through the hassle just to haul some butt in one of their new trucks for a few minutes, then leave.. I appreciate it

Yep. Mine is at the dealer at this very moment for the same thing. Getting the ole OPERATING NORMAL B.S.
