Wind Noise

My 99 new body has wind noise by the 3rd door. Is there any way to fix it by myself. The seal needs to be tighter somehow.

There was a TSB on wind noise from the rear quarter windows in the excab trucks. GM was replacing the windows at no-charge under warranty. Do you have any warranty left???

They replaced the molding/weatherstripping on my 99 due to the same complaint.

I had a 2000 extended cab with the same problem,the fix is an adjustment to the locking/closing latch on the window my dealer had a auto glass company come in a do it.

I had the same problem, I just put ome weatherstrip glue on my weatherstrip and it seems to be solved because the weather strping was sagging.

In the south, we use duct tape.

It could be that your third door is not closed all the way. On my 2000 GMC, I have to slam the door shut really hard in order for it to close the way it is supposed to. If I dont, it alot of wind noise happens when going at highway speeds.
