TPMS Threshholds - Austin Area

Hey all,

I put new wheels/tires on my 2008 Suburban, and of course the new 285/65r18's are rated to 80psi where the factory tires were rated to 30. I run the new Terra's at 52 psi, which of course puts them out of the thresh hold of the TPMS system.

I'm not having much luck finding a dealership in the area (Austin, TX) to reprogram the TPMS system. The ONE I found who is checking with GM claims $350.00 and they need the truck for the day. (I haven't gotten this verified yet) Everything else I've gotten is from "can't be done" to "we won't touch it."

Is there anyone out there who's found someone in Central Texas willing to do it? Shop? Dealer? A tech II tech?

Thanks,

Bob
