Tire sensors

One last question on wheels here, the wheels I bought have tire pressure sensors from a 2008 silverado in them. Can these same sensors be used/ recognized by my 2014 silverado? Or if not can the same valve stems be used and the sensors from my 2014 be mounted to them? (So I don't have to buy new sensors or valve stems from GM...

If I'm to understand this correctly you would like to have an extra set of wheels for your truck. If that's the case and you're in doubt about whether the TPMS will work on your 2014, go down to your dealer parts department and get the part numbers for the TPMS in your 2014 and the TPMS from the 2008 wheels. If the part numbers are the same, you're good to go. I would tend to think your 2014 would have the new improved TPMS and would not be able to properly read the TPMS from your 2008 wheels.
