DIC Compass not working

Hey guys I have a 2011 Silverado Z-71 Crew Cab. My DIC compass is not working, it shows --.

I try to calibrate and pick my zone and it goes back to --. I've searched the forums and cant find anything. Any help is appreciated!

Did you turn it off and back on again? My 02 does this and sometimes it takes a couple days to go back to normal

It has been showing the -- for 6 months now. Just getting around to taking care of it. I unplugged my Onstar and Bluetooth box for a few minutes hoping to reset it but that hasn't worked.

Try unplugging the battery for 30 minutes then drive around

Unhooked my battery for about 4 hrs. Hooked it back up, still have the -- showing where the direction should be.

Take it to a tech2 and see if it throws codes.
