Denali Grill insert , where can I find one?

Hi all,

MY GF has a 2003 Yukon and I would like to put on a Denali style grill insert. The only ones I've been able to find are the billet kind with the horizontal bars. What I'm looking for is the punch hole look of the Denali. Anyone have any ideas?

From what i can find, i believe the grill part number is 15764319. GM lists the part at $408, but our supporting vendors, http://www.partszoneonline.com & http://www.gmpartsdirect.com can both get you the grill for MUCH less (little more than 1/2 of that)

Check em out!  :(

Of course, thats for an entire Denali Grille Shell, which means that you'd have to replace the parking lamps to the Denali ones as well. The lamps are dealer parts so they will be pricey. If the finances are available I would at least do the new grille, if not a full front end Denali conversion (headlights, parking lights, grill, bumper cover, and fog lights)  not just the inserts. All of the inserts I have seen look really cheap, it's pretty obvious that they are crappy inserts (crappy, and not worth the price.

I Have Putco's Punch Grill.  Looks pretty much like the poor man's Denali.  There are differences if you compare them side by side by the overall look is very similar

If you want I'll take a real life picture of mine and e-mail it since picturetrail won't allow me to do anything unless I upgrade my account.  :(

Here is a comparison done by JAFO. The top image is a Denali, while the bottom pic is of his Sierra with the Putco grille inserts.

I've got to say, the Putco looks awesome on your truck JAFO.  :(

I retract my previous comment about aftermarket Denali grilles in general, and say that the Putco is now the only one I've seen, out of a few, that look good.

Thanks jr. !  Was afraid that someone that owned a Denali would be upset, thinking I was trying to get people to believe my truck was what it wasn't.  But I guess, those that know what a Denali is can tell even at a glance that it isn't and those that have no idea what a Denali is could really care less.

By the way, sweet Yukon!  :seeya:
