2010 Tailgate Installation

Hey all,

I'm trying to help out a friend install a 5th-wheel louvered tailgate (Handy). The problem is: This was a corporate truck that had a camper shell that has the bigger doors on it. So there was no tailgate to begin with. In fact, *all* the hardware associated with the tailgate was removed. Ok, so I get a striker bolt at the parts store only to find out that the new tailgate will not latch to it. It looks like the tailgate latch is looking for a plate instead of a bolt. I found a reference to a plate here (#8) but it's saying that the part was discontinued. So what gives? Any ideas?

Yeah, Pick-a-Part may be my next stop. Anyone with a newer body style have anything other than a striker bolt on their tailgate?
