***Regarding Political Posts***

As we all know, the country stands slightly divided with the whole War issue. Its so strong that its starting to tear up GM-TC from the inside out.

Therefore, i'm going to ask that people please refrain from making any "Pro-War, Pro-Bush, Anti-War, Anti-Bush" statements.

This is a site for trucks, not politics.

"But its freedom of speech!", you say? Not on this board. I privately own GM-TC, and what I say goes. Sorry to be so blunt, but that’s how it has to be.

Discussing news is ok, but once you interject with a personal view on the subject, I will delete your post. The last thing I want is to have this board turn inside out because politics got into it.

Thank-you for understanding.  :(

I agree with your option to remove posts....however if you are going to remove the earlier post from friz "gotta go" then don't you feel that the removal of the "Bush the international terriost, T-shirt", should also go? seems only fair??????????

Works for me.  The less arguing the better, I get enough of that in my social science classes.

I do have one more political thing to say and this is it.....

Merz, can you just run the world instead of this board and tell everyone to shut the he!! up?   :D

I can live with that and comply with it since you privately own the site (and do a good job with it).  In fact, it's a fairly bold decision.  I'm not offended by political partisanship but I can understand that some people don't like their opinions questioned.

Guys, i appriciate the cooperation.

I think though, that my first post might be a little strict.

Therefore, there is a possibility that we might integrate the bash forum into a "Political" forum as well.

I'll keep you all updated.  :D

I am perfectly willing to go along with this.  I did not see what happened, but I heard about it and I feel it is reason enough to set up new rules for political threads.

I totally agree with this. It is sad when the site owner of a truck forum has to post something like this. I think it is a good idea to keep the post to trucks, dog had puppies, dog pi$$ed on the rug. Post about Religon and Politics will only get folks wound up and caused bad feelings. Bye the way I don't have a dog, just using that as an example.
