All-Terrain grill surround + Denali honeycomb grill

Has anyone tried to combine these two? For example the outside of the all-terrain grill and the honeycomb backing that the GMC logo sits on? I haven't taken off my grill to see if this can be done or they can be separated, but I would be very interested if they could.

I have also been looking into this. Gm doesn't sell the surround by itself, and I would like the factory painted surround. My goal is to blackout the truck, but in a way that still gives off some of the denali accent. Next would be the tow hook surround and I am fairly sure I could wrap it, or replace with the dark grey version. Have not been able to locate a black one.

I have been thinking the same thing. Would love the color matched surround while keeping the Denali insert. Ideally the only chrome on the truck I want is just the grille insert and maybe keep the lower tow hook surround.

I would trade you or buy the chrome tow hook surround if your interested. I have not been able to find the chrome anywhere. I have the dark grey one.

 

I may wrap my chrome bumper in a gloss black and would love this chrome accent
