Windshield Washer

Can anyone help me solve why my spray doesn't come out the drivers side sprayer  :P  It works perfect on the passenger side   How hard is it to take the plastic cowl off under the wipers? 93 K-1500

Other than this little problem, all is well and I'm looking to put another 130,000 miles on it  :thumb:

Thanks,

Brian

I would think that you have a "plug" in the line somewhere.  It would have to be after the "T" fitting because you are getting fluid to the other nozzle.

Check for kinks in the line especially where it may have gotten crimped by closing the hood, or where it goes around a bend.  I would also take a pin and try to clean out the nozzle on the wiper arm.

 I had this happen on a Cavalier I used to have.  That only had one sprayer in the middle but it wouldn't spray. Bought a new pump, no go. Took the nozzle off, and it was plugged with a piece of the tin foil from the top of a bottle of washer fluid.  A few minutes with a pin digging it out, and it worked fine. I would see if you can get the nozzle off and I'll bet it is plugged with something. Maybe unhook the hose from the nozzle first, then try the squirter, if the fluid comes out the hose, you know the nozzle is plugged.

good luck!

I just had this problem with the passenger's side of my truck.  The hose that runs from the cowl to the wiper blade was broken.  It either broke from the constant motion of the wipers causing a crack or maybe I hit it with the ice scraper some time this winter.  Anyway, I just put a vacuum line connector between the two pieces and it now works fine.
