Exhaust Diameter 6.2L

What is the diameter of the pipe going into the muffler? Looks to be either 3.5" or 4". I'd like to just put on a new muffler and dump it before the axle, unless anyone has any better suggestions.

I was looking at Dynomax Race Bullets, has anyone had any good, bad or other experiences with these?

Thanks for all the help guys.

It's 3.5". I just had a Magnaflow 3.5 in 3.5 out installed. However, the short section that houses the flapper is 3"' I dumped the stock muffler and the 3" flapper section and replaced it with the Magnaflow.

Dumping under the truck will likely cause or increase droaning. It also increases the amount of exhaust you'll recirculate into the cab through the windows or ventilation system. The only upside is that its cheap.
