Jimmie Johnson: A Class Act Considering...

Just thought I would share some comments Jimmie made after the race Sunday. I found this on Nascar.com if you want to read the whole article.

 

"At the time we were upset, but we reviewed the tape and talked to his guys," Johnson said. "I raced with Sterling all last year and never had any contact with him. "So it's not like I think he was doing something intentional. I was just upset at the time.

 

"We lost a few more spots and spun out and almost crashed. But you know, that was that and it's over."

 

Definitely more forgiving than I would have been. Especially that soon after the incident!

I Just got through reading that "Matt Kenseth" thread and didn't want to start any of that up again.

 

However I would like to say that I believe that was a good move on Johnsons part. Kinda funny how quickly he calmed down when he was told "NASCAR's got their eye on ya"  

I'm not sure I would have been able to cool off that quickly.

 

 

I also thought Waltrip's backing of the Pres. very cool.
