Transmission or spark plugs

Since I got the SES flashing solved and the multiple misfires on cyl 4 & 8 solved a new problem has cropped up. When driving the engine will like lurch or stumble. I'm thinking is the transmission or the spark plugs. It did it several times on the expressway today so that's why I think it is the plugs. Or could the transmission be slipping?

  But do we really know who makes it to what set of gates, and where? Like oil and everything else, I think the only answer is to walk toward your own gate, and can't expect anyone else to follow.

  Your problem can occur gas or diesel. They both are wrapped by the same exact truck electronically.

  One week old 2026 High Country 3.0 Duramax with 220 miles. Issue started with a failure to "auto start" Sunday morning. Started from within the cab via the push button and all appeared well. Then later in the afternoon and again the "auto start" failure and the push button start in the cab but this time I had two big completely black screens staring back at me. The vehicle is awaiting a GM roadside assistance tow to the dealer for diagnostics. I bought the diesel due to zero faith in the gas engines, but it would appear that does not make one immune to failures. My life long love of GM is failing and I have began to think other brands might be a better option.
