HP and torque for a 5.0L

I'm (still) on the search for a new truck, looking for anything but trying to stay GM. I've seen alot of 98-99 (Classics) with a 5.0L for decent money. Does anyone know the HP and Torque rating for these years?

 

I'm currently at 200 HP and 300 ft/lbs with my 94, will I be doing better? How about mechanicaly? Any problems with the 5.0?

The 98/99 5.0 is rated at:

 

230 hp @ 4600 rpm

285lb.-ft.@2800rpm

 

I'd say the 5.0 is every bit as reliable as the 5.7m, but suffers from a significant torque disadvantage vs the 5.7.

I have always had good luck with my 5.0L.  Its a '94 with 165500 miles on it.
