jerseyTahoe Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 I should be getting the truck by the end of the month. And now that it is nice out and there is no drought restrictions I will be detailing it the first nice weekend after I get it. How long does it take to detail a Tahoe. I have spent easily 6 to 7 hours on my Neon getting all the nooks and cranys. What am I looking at on the Hoe? I want to try the Zanoe and claybar it and wax it. Will this be a 2 day Job? Also any tips? Later, Brandon
toddoughty Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 Not 2 days, but a llloooong day if you spend 6 hours on your car. I consider myself pretty particular, but it does not take me 6 hours on either of my cars.
jerseyTahoe Posted March 18, 2003 Author Posted March 18, 2003 I like to get as carried away as taking wheels off and cleaning the insides. And the motor area. Inside the door jams and all that stuff. I get crazy. I usually only do it once in the spring and once in the fall. Later, Brandon
Greg Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 The white paint, cladding, and overall height of the Avalanche make is easier and quicker to detail than my black Vette. Then again, I'm more anal about my vette. One application of Zaino Z2 and Z6 is enough for the Avalanche. The Vette gets a number of applications of Z5, Z6, & Z2. Both got the treatment last Saturday.
