Gatoroi's 2014 AT build thread

Here is my build. Pulled all the logos other than grill. 2.5 level kit up front only. Toyo MT tires with Fuel mavericks. Replaced all of the exterior bulbs with LEDs. I was going to have the bumper wrapped but they wanted more then getting it painted so I am on edge on what to do.....

Ordered black mirror caps and door handles. Should be here next week! Just need to swap out this chrome window trim now.

Changed chrome mirror caps and handles to black. It was dark when I finished but here we go. Broke a couple clips on the old chrome caps I took off. Handles were very easy, I used fishing line and this video

I need to clean her up and dip the window trim.

I got a better picture today. Still dirty as heck. Need the weather to warm up this weekend to wash her off as well as either vinyling the window trim or plasti dip'n it. Should look almost complete this weekend. I still would like some aftermarket wheels and AMP steps.

I may tint the tails. Im thinking of leaving the lights stock maybe do a clear amber reflector

Is this lift using spacer on top of front strut and add a leaf and blocks in rear?

No i just got the old style with the signal in the glass. I can't spend nearly a grand on just mirrors. Id like them but ill wait till they are cheaper.

True. It is a lot for the mirrors. Try subscribing to the "for sale/wanted" section of the forum. That's why I did and I managed to get the mirrors for less and they were only 2 weeks old. Just a tip!

Can't wait to see how your truck looks with the tow mirrors. It's looking great so far

I look there a lot. Missed a great opportunity on the power fold ones. I should have just got them then. But these will do. Thanks for the compliments. I seen a duramax that has the same look im going for.
