dtc p2270 p2271 and air bag light

I recently bought 2008 gmc sierra with the 5.3L in it. since I got it I've been getting the check engine lights coming on and then shutting off. sometimes I get the dtc p2270 some times it's p2271 and there's been times when it's both. For the past week the light has been on and hasn't shut off like it usually does. at first I had just p2270 showing up. then both and now back to p2270. I heard that dealers were actually reprogramming some trucks who had issues like this but I'm not sure if it was these specific sensors. does anyone know if this is just an issue that can be reprogrammed or do I just need to replace the sensors?

my air bag light has been coming on then it goes off. it cones on for maybe 5 seconds at a time then shuts off. it started this last week. I can go days without it happening. is this another sensor issue?

I just want to add that I have read posts about this before I just wanted some confirmation about the computer reprogramming I had heard about.
