I saw in another thread that someone had taken the screen out of the MAF. I gather that this will increase the air flow. Does this do much for power and will it F up the MAF sensor?

This was a popular mod on most of the s-series forums when I had my blazer, but I dont think the gains were noticeable. Not worth it IMO!

This is also popular with the LS1 engine crowd. It does increase air volume exponentially, which leads to more hp. But it is risky. The failure rate is high after this mod is done, and can trigger ses codes. That's why most recommend shying away from it.
