Will these tires fit?

Will 285/75/16 tires fit a 02 Sierra Z71 with no lift? I have heard both yes and no. Do they rub? Anyone with this setup, your response is greatly appreciated...

I've been told they will (on this board and other places), I would assume they will. MIGHT have to crank the bars a lil bit for rubbing, but I don't think so.

This correct, they should fit. I had 285 BFGs on my 01 Silveradoe Z71. Yes you may have to crank the torsion bars but that is easy to do.

since we are on the topic of torsion bars, could you tell me how to crank them? ALso, my front "seems" in line with my rear, is there any way to tell if the previous owner cranked the bars?
