01 step side Silverado 4x4. Hit brakes, amber turn/ pking lites go on. Hit left or rt turn Sig & everything in back blinks. Not electrically brilliant but have basic knowledge.

Bad bulb, socket, ground in rear of truck is likely the answer. Remove or change bulbs one at a time to find where the issue is. Also look closely inside the socket when bulb is removed for corrosion.

Re-established all grounds. There is a junction block back there, that looks pretty bad. Thought I had it fixed for a while then it started acting up. Think I'll order one of those junctions. Looks like a carnival ride back there

Double check all the bulbs as well, over the years I have run into bulbs that one filament breaks and falls against the other filament enough times to make me remember. Also double check that someone has not put the wrong based bulb in there. It is not all that hard to put an 1156 where an 1157 goes. Even the different stagger on the alignment pins will not prevent someone from forcing it. Fool proof, not idiot proof.

Also if you have a trailer connector, I found them that had enough corrosion to short terminal to terminal. Not likely if you are in the south, but in the north with winters and road salt it happens.

Thank you. Picking up new rear wiring junction block, will install as soon as the weather breaks. Also, when very cold it starts & dies, can't feather to keep going. It just starts & dies. Was told it could be relays under the hood. It starts when it warms up. Like when the sun warms things up. Any info would be great. I don't have alotta dough, so economy fix is essential. Thanks again.

Think I found the culprit. Black wire unconnected from main harness. Not sure where to reattach it though. I'll figure it out though. Thank you guys for the help.
