Need to swap mirrors over-- bought a new Denali today

Nice truck... 5.3, 4WD, black/black, sunroof, brake controller. This one doesn't have the lane change departure warning / frontal collision avoidance alert.

 

Sound System and mirror swap tomorrow, plus the dealer is swapping my chrome SLT wheels onto the Denali. I like them and the D has polished wheels. I'm keeping the new tires...13k wear on the old ones!

 

Looking forward to the new Magnetic Ride Control, changeable dash....not much else is different.

Nice is it that a good thing or bad thing and wat tips would u recommend on cleaning polishing or maintenance on them I just want them to stay perfect

The polished Denali wheels are a -400.00 credit option. I have no idea why a dealer would order a totally chromed out truck with polished wheels.

They are very easy to keep nice. I use a full service car wash, and I pay 5.00 extra for wheels and tires...they clean and buff them pretty well.

Ah i see I prefer detailing it myself I never trust car washes do anything but that's just me

Been there. I get my truck washed everytime it's dirty... sometimes 2x per week. I sell out of it.

I read somewhere that the '15 Denali was supposed to come standard with the chrome wheels. GM ran into a supplier issue with the chrome wheels, so they began to ship the trucks with the polished version. The discount reflects the price difference between the originally spec'd chrome and the substitute polished wheels.

They are "standard" until they are optioned out...as you say. It worked out better for me! My SLT wheels don't have DENALI embossed on the wheel lip, but I like the "Y" pattern better anyway.

My Denali is a 2014 with the Chromes but if I had a choice I probably would have gone with the SLT rims as well.

I owed 37 and they gave me 40. The truck stickered for 54 and they sold it for 47. Not Laura territory but OK for me. I have bought a new 15, 14, 13, 08 and 06 from them now.

That's a great deal for you. Maybe not the guy who bought a used SLT for 47k.
