dual exhaust choices ??!!??!!

I bought a 95 silverado a few months ago with a 350 in it. It has the stock exhaust on it still and i want to put some sort of duals on it. it has the single pipe with the single cat. Im kind of debating between flowmaster american thunder series and having the exhaust shop put on straight pipes.???? I want it to be loud but good sounding ecspecially when i get on it and even through acceleration and i also want it to make that cackling noise. What should i use? can someone please help me..

Definetly Dual Flowmasters but add 2 cats of your choice im not sure on brand but dont straighten it out with out them sounds horrible and smell awful

Straight pipes kill needed backpressure. Even though where I live we have no emissions but I went with the basic single in dual out cat back setup with a MagnaFlow muffler.

ok thanks guys i think i am goin to go with flowmaster single in dual out but what series should i get? i think 70 series will be to quiet and i dont know what 40 original sounds like. ive hear them on there web sites but i wanna be able to hear it in person. i am thinking about going with the american thunder series cat back kit?!?! is that a good choice and what series muffler is that if ya know?

What's the general consensus on the Gibson cat back systems?

I was thinking of getting the stainless dual split rear model.

I'd really like to get the raspy sound of a Flowmaster 40 series but I don't want to buy anything that isn't stainless. I have a rust phobia.

I know MountaineerTom runs flowmaster single in duel out. I am not sure what series but his truck sounds really nine.

The 70 series is definatly the quietest of the mufflers. People say the 40 series is loud and creates resonance. The 50 series is almost as loud as the 40, but resonance in the cab isn't as bad.

I've heard the 70 series before on a stock tailpipe, and I think it is not going to be as loud as you want it... For me though it would be just about perfect!!!
