Heavy_Chevy_2003 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD. So recently my A/C was on and started making a humming noise. The next day I played around to see when it would happen. Cold air still comes out, but when I turn it up higher it starts that noise again and the higher I turn it up, the loader it gets. It still pushes out cold air regardless. I had a family ember say it may be the cabin air filter and/or the fan may be clogged. 2003 has not filter and I have no idea how to figure this shit out. I've been on the internet all day trying to find a video or something to help me out. Any help would be very appreciated!
8.1HD/ALLISON Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Sounds like you have some debris in the blower motor. Remove blower motor and clean and leaves/ dirt. Reinstall and test.
