Current Silverado 1500 Incentives

Hello:

New to the forum. I'm in the market for a new Silverado 1500 Double Cab, 5.3L LT w/ Allstar Package 4x4.

I live in NW Pennsylvania....I thought it would be more straight forward, but trying to figure out what incentives are out there right now:

Chevy Website shows: $2250

Gm Card Webiste shows: $3250

I called Simmons Rockwell, a large dealer in souther NY, and they tell me $3250 in National Rebates that everyone will qualify for.

I called a 2nd dealer in Erie, PA, they told be $7000 in rebates including a $2000 credit union rebate?

Can anyone give me the straight story on what rebates there are right now for NW PA?

Also, I don't absolutley need to buy now if waiting a few months would get me a better deal...

Any advice on what time of year is the best time to buy a Silverado 1500?

Sorry for the long post...

Thanks for any input.

Whenever Silverado sale velocity is down is the best time to buy (hard to predict), other than that maybe December. Right now is a pretty good time to buy, at least in my area. I got 18% off MSRP without any haggling on LTZ Z71.

I say 10-12k off sticker and you're doing ok.

i just went in and looked at silverados before I decided on the Sierra. There are about 5k in incentives that anybody can get and then make sure you get supplier pricing (credit union; join one for $50). Also there's another 1500 if you finance with gmac wells or ally

What incentives are the dealers offering to get $10-13k off? I have GMS pricing and can only get $9400 off with all incentives . What are the dealers hiding?

Probably trade in discounts and credit union.
