tow harness connectors

Im not 100% sure because my truck is at work, but i ordered a bolt on tow package as my Lt didnt have on when i bought it, and im not sure but i think where most would have the 7/4 on the bumper, mine just has the cap. So i would like to know if there is a t connector for this truck, i found one online however it doesnt look like what im looking for. I guess its the plug and go connector that goes in the tail light harness

I looked this morning and there is a harness of some sort that goes to the cap by the license plate, but there isnt any flaps to open to plug in a trailer. So is there an adpter I can get to plug in there?

I understand the dealer parts guy can get you the official GM connector too. I hope this helps.

Take the cover off, and it plugs directly into the factory tow harness and cutout.

I knew I saw it somewhere else, but couldn't remember. The eTrailer link shows how it installs on our trucks.
