american thunder cat-back

I am thinking about gettin a flowmaster american thunder cat back system for my 95 short bed silverado but i want to know how it is going to sound.  Is it still going to be loud and aggressive with my cat on there? I was talking to one of my buddys and he said i could take the cat off since my O2 sensor is infront of it and run a pipe back then just by a 40 series muffler with single in dual out but i dont know.  i want to know how the cat back system is going to sound? anyone ever heard it.

Its likely going to sound smooth and deep with the cat on.  If you hack the cat off, its going to get louder, but probably sound a little less "clean" sounding.  Its all a matter of preference, but I prefer the sound with a cat on.  

 

I'd say install the catback, see how you like it before you remove the cat.  Your O2 is before your cat, so if you do run without a cat, your O2 readings should be fine.
