american thunder cat-back

I am thinking about gettin a flowmaster american thunder cat back system for my 95 short bed silverado but i want to know how it is going to sound.  Is it still going to be loud and aggressive with my cat on there? I was talking to one of my buddys and he said i could take the cat off since my O2 sensor is infront of it and run a pipe back then just by a 40 series muffler with single in dual out but i dont know.  i want to know how the cat back system is going to sound? anyone ever heard it. :nono:

Its likely going to sound smooth and deep with the cat on.  If you hack the cat off, its going to get louder, but probably sound a little less "clean" sounding.  Its all a matter of preference, but I prefer the sound with a cat on.

I'd say install the catback, see how you like it before you remove the cat.  Your O2 is before your cat, so if you do run without a cat, your O2 readings should be fine.
