I was wondering what else can it be besides the oil pump if I was (driving) than out of nowhere my oil pressure went to zero than it said turn off vehicle now but I couldn't cause I was on the highway so I drove it alil more than it shutoff than I tried to turn it on n it didn't turn on than 2 weeks later I turned it on but it had a ticking noise and by the way it has modifications thanks

Loss of oil pressure, then a tick? From here sounds like that engine is smoked. But if your going by instrument cluster gauge, I'd double check with a real gauge first.

I'm gonna open it and see if the inside is bad if not than I'll put a new oil pump

You didn't mention what year truck you are talking about. But if it is the 2014 Chevy Silverado single cab you have listed under what you drive. Then it should still be under warranty.

Yeah it's 14 mybad but it doesn't have warranty cause it has cam and full bolt ons

Wish we could do that in this state. I still have to wait another 7 years before mine is exempt. :nonod:

You can still file a warranty claim, the worst they can do is tell you no. If you get told no, you can escalate to legal action if you can show that the mods had nothing to do with the oil pump failure (that's assuming it didn't).
