Hitch Rating W/ Adapter Sleeve?

I have looked in the manual, but did not see if there was a reduction in the tw rating when using the adapter sleeve on the factory 2.5" hitch ('13-2500).

 

This possible reduction was brought up on another forum, but was also referenced toward a Reese hitch having a reduced rating, not a factory hitch. Still made me wonder if it was the same case with the factory hitch.

 

I do plan on buying a 2.5" shank with the new wd hitch. Just wondered!

I use the adaptor on my truck cant tell of any problems so far, I use a B&W Hitch and its a 2'' shank so I have to use the adaptor anyway.
