    Is your Sierra 4wd? Im guessing no so have you considered have a set of studded tires just for winter?

    I run 55 year around with no TPMS alarms. Its a pretty good ride for 3/4 ton truck.

    Maybe just try a basic good front end alignment and have them check your tie rods and ball joints while it up on the rack. I have a 2005 1500 with similar mileage and i have a small vibration at 75mph working on it right now. I always start with small basic stuff with a problem. Good luck sir

    This had the same thing when my lamps were bad in taillight flasher blinked real fast it was bad lamps

    ok I would get a test light 12v and verify at your truck plug what you do have. Check the turn signal left and right and running light. Definitely check as BSHORT said the harness. If the fuses are good then you should have power back there, check the ground that could keep it all from working to. Since it so new you could take it back to dealer also

    Interesting mine only flash if i hit the FOB to lock the truck. Why would you want your trailer lights flashing all the time day or night while it parked. Don't sound right.

    Did you happen to try a jump after it didnt start? Its possible the dsah could light up but not enough battery strength to turn over.

    Agree will all, I had same feeling at first but dont even think about it anymore.

    I am sympathetic to your problem, If I start my truck I want to decide when it goes off. Bout as ignorant as the auto stop start feature. Anyway might try MikeNH idea about setting in neutral and set parking brake its a good shot.

    There a great tool to have with today's drivers not paying attention to what there doing. I put mine on a switch not a key on power. That enables me to leave it on when I run in a business or whatever and its a rough looking area I will still be filming around my truck. I dont mind flipping it on when I take off driving there a good thing however you set it up. I'm using a RoadHawk HD camera.

    Exactly where I put mine to. I have installed 2 Firestone kits on a 2007 1500 and 2011 1500 never touched them since. Work great.

    Glad to hear you fixed that, I shared your pain for quite a white on my 2015 tried pretty much everything including what you did. I solved mine with a cord strain relief that hold the weight of the trailer cord up. It was only on my Big Tex trailer that threw the check trailer wiring code they used a heavy guage thick black cord and it would eventually works it way just enough loose on the interstate to throw that code.

    Its one of those things I wish GM would have left alone. I can pull the same trailer everyday with my 2008 1500 and never had a problem, but my 2015 is more sensitive as 2017HD posted. I know there is nothing wrong with the trailer but I still had to deal with the message popping up up on my DIC. That trailer plug has to be in there snug and not move around or it will throw the message.

    O yea I fought that message for a long time. Changed trailer end to Pollack brand still did it. Almost a year later I finally found what caused my message the cord on my Big Tex is heavy gauge with thick insulation and it would over time during my trip pull down just enough to trigger the same message you have and then clear as fast. I put a cord strain relief on the trailer cord and then a snap ring to attach to my bumper and its never done it again. I have another trailer which only has the 4 wire flat cable and it never trips the message using it cause it has no weight to pull down during the road trip.

    As everyone said its normal my 2008 1500 does it as well as my 2015 2500. I dont pay a lot of attention to it anyway, you will get used to it. Unless your headlights are dimming or something of that nature your alternator is fine.

    Loaded up coming fixing to head home from deer camp. Easy pull for the 6.0 just a 16ft Big Tex.

    We replaced the front shocks with 4600 Bilsteins on my sons 2011 6.2 NHT truck. Man the spring compressor part is a bit tricky. But we got er done. He said it rides a lot better. We has already done the rears last week.

    Last 3 GM trucks I had you have to slam the rear seat down in the back on the drivers side or I would have a annoying knocking sound the whole trip. It took me a while to find out but If I lift up the back seat I make sure and slam it good or else. Maybe that is your problem.

    Cowpie those looks badass, and there not as shiny as my chain links i use. We all had to get out there and find something to work with those dang GM hitches didn't we.

    I would add a second battery wire them in parallel. I did that when I added my winch and it will give you more capacity.
