Motor blow off sound

hi i have a 2000 gmc sierra 5.3, my problem is when i accelerate i hear a blow off of air coming from the passenger side the truck doesn't loose any power when this happens and it usually gets worse or happens more frequently when it is raining out. Thanks in advance.

Did you check your air filter housing? Is it closed?
All the air hoses still connected?
