Rustproof in necessary or not 2015 silverado 2500hd

I have to undercoat my 2015 silverado 2500hd Duramax.Should I get it rustproof ed to or is it not necessary

It's too early to tell on that generation of trucks. No one knows for sure yet whether they'll have rust issues in six, eight, or ten years or not. If it was my truck and I planned to drive it for 10 years or more and lived in the snow-belt of the country, I would have it rust-proofed. I had my new truck done because I plan to drive it for at least 12-15 years. (I drove my last truck for 13 and didn't buy it new.)

I have a 2014 4x4 Z71 Sierra. Z71 package comes with it. May already have it if you have Z71 package.

What really should be done is have the factory frame "wax" stripped and frame recoated with a high quality frame paint.

My thoughts are the same remove cap frame wax cap what a mess that would be than undercoat. Cause we all no nothing adhears properly to a wax coating any ideas looking for your input here guys
