So I'm super new here and just bought my first truck ever. A 2014 sierra crew sle. I am not impressed at all with the headlights. What is all entailed in changing over to the led's? Thanks and sorry for the rookie questions!

Gen5diy has the SLT headlights with a custom built harness that will fit SLE's, been thinking about doing this to my truck but have not taken the leap.

So are you saying the only way to get good light is to upgrade to the slt units? Cause dam I don't want to drop $1700....

haha nawwwww dude. doing this upgrade is merely for aesthetics/cosmetics. it won't help with lighting the road much. If you want great output, I believe the popular route in this forum is the FXR projector retrofit or something like that.

Or take the easy way out and upgrade to a 2016.

Lol nice...well seeing as I had to twist the ol ladies arm pretty hard to upgrade to the sierra I just got a few weeks ago I doubt the '16 is in my near future....so I am just trying to find what I can do to this one to get better! Thanks for all the info!!
