Engine Revs

I was driving my 2015 5.3 with a 6 speed at about 35 MPH and I noticed when I suddenly left off the accelerator pedal the engine revs between 75 and 200 RPM. It seems to do this whenever I am holding a constant speed or accelerating. Any idea why the engine would spin faster when I am requesting it to spin slower?

Mine started with same issue, today tranny went belly up,

Good, I hope mine does that as well. Then they will have to do something with it besides avoid the problem. Been complaining about the poor shifting transmission since I have had it but I have not been getting anywhere with either the dealer or GM ERT team.

They kept telling me no issues while under warranty and just told me today they will not cover because of lift kit ( purchased truck new with kit and tires, salesman has amnesia about telling me it had 100k power train)

 

My buddy purchased a 15 and has same revving problem....
