Lug nuts with thru hole concerns

So I just got a set of winter rims for my 2014 Sierra crew 4x4. They are off an old avalanche that requires thru hole lug nuts with external thread to secure a center cap. Is the thread on my 2014 a 14mm x 1.5? I'm gonna need to buy lug nuts, wondering if there are any concerns about switching to thru hole lug nuts on a newer truck. Thanks guys!

They are 14x1.5 and there is no issue with changing lug nut style

Thanks for the input, I didn't think there would be a big issue, just didn't wanna miss something.

  My truck rarely sees a dusty, dirt road, if ever. Actually, never. Within 6mo of ownership, mine was totally covered with road dust and yellow, Louisiana pine pollen. I swear, it looks 6yrs old. You'd think it was an oilfield, or pipeline service truck. Did GM just do a piss poor job of sealing the bay? Anyone else with this issue?

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
