Vinyl Wrapped Interior Pieces

I have an SLT with black leather. The factory wood grain is a std. burlwood style. It doesn't really match the black interior.

Has anyone wrapped the wood grain with a different wood grain? I was thinking about using the 3M Di-Noc Black Walnut. Anybody have any experience with this?

I was planning to us the 3M Primer 94 and pull the pieces so I could completely wrap them, as opposed to just tucking it into the crease.

3m Di-noc is not meant to be a super conformable media. It would probably work for some of the interior pieces but anything with some complex contours may not hold over time even with primer 94. Just my thoughts. I have used Di-noc on flat wall surfaces with no issues but it is rigid in contrast to true wrapping films. 3m does say that it will stick to virtually any substrate though. I would probably skip the primer 94 because if you chose to remove the di-noc later it leaves a bit of an adhesive mess. I like to heat and pull the vinyl about a quarter inch around the back to keep from any puckering around the edges.

3M 1080 is your best choice, DINOC is typically used for exterior I do believe as it is a heavier vinyl.
