Extended Cab Long Bed vs. Crew Cab Standard bed

I am looking at putting an exhaust on my 07 sierra 2500HD, some kits say they fit crew cab Standard bed OR extended cab long bed.....and then some say will only fit crew cab standard box....Is this right? By the way I am taking this info, seems to me that Extended cab long bed and Crew cab standard bed are the same length?

Some cat back kits come with a long front pipe(pipe from cat to muffler) and either the instructions tell you where to cut the pipe or the pipe itself is marked where to cut it to fit the different size beds.

 

Some kits are only for a specific combination that has the same wheelbase. In the current model Sierra's, the CrewCab with short box and the DoubleCab with the standard box both have the same 143.5 inch wheelbase. They both should take the same cat back kit. You may find that some kits will also include the CrewCab with standard box as fitting. You would just cut 10 inches off the front pipe(cat to muffler pipe).
