onstar/ bluetooth audio problems

Hi guys new to the site but have been over at gmfs.com for a while. Having a problem with my onstar/bluetooth audio. It comes out scratchy and quiet. Just started suddenly. I checked the usual culprit of loose plugs to the radio with no luck. I also noticed what ever the problem is it is also causing the door dinging to be very quiet as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my local dealers can't help me. (Extended wait times to get in plus noy having a clue what it could be.)
