2004 Yukon XL, Happy with transmission replacement

I had a shudder in my transmission and came to the conclusion that it was at least a problem with the torque converter...

I took it to a local transmission repair shop and aftger talking to the owner decided to get the transmission replaced with a new torque converter. It has 220,000+ miles on it.

 

Total cost was $1950.00

 

I am very happy with this decision. It shifts better with no shudder.

Glad it worked out to your satisfaction. I've been working on classics for so long, I can't get used to what it costs to do work on these "newer" models.
